Why do some people seem to effortlessly grow their wealth while others work hard but continue to struggle?
I've got something a bit different for you in today's episode.
Together with Brett Warren, national director at Metropole and financial whiz Pete Wargent, we give you a sneak peek behind the curtain and help you understand the lessons we learned from Wealth Retreat last year.
While we're talking about wealth, it'll be interesting at the end of it when you work out what our emphasis was.
It wasn't investment and, it wasn't property.
Listen in as we share with you the biggest lessons we've learned.
Expert tips for wealth and personal development
The idea for this masterclass came from a chat I had with Pete and Brett.
We were planning for the Wealth Retreat that's coming up at the end of April this year, and we were discussing how we each individually achieved and the goals we set ourselves over the last decade that we've been going to Wealth Retreat together.
We aim to allow you to take a peek behind the curtains to understand what goes on at our wealth retreat each year and we wanted to share some lessons that we learned.
- Wealth is not just about money
- Personal growth plays a critical role in achieving true wealth
- Crafting a success plan and overcoming limiting beliefs are essential for financial growth
- Wealth creation is a process, not an event
- The importance of strategic advisors in legacy building and wealth management
- Incremental progress in personal and investment strategies leads to significant achievements
- The value of a supportive network for personal and financial mastery
- Property investment decision-making that’s informed by demographic trends and market dynamics
We hope we’ve shed light on the dance between mastering one's financial domain and nurturing one's personal development.
Take the time to reflect on your path to wealth, consider the importance of evidence-based investment strategies, and recognize the value of continuous learning and personal growth in the pursuit of true wealth.

Some of our favorite quotes from the show:
“A t Wealth Retreat one of the things that you learn a lot from the faculty, but you also learn a lot from the people you have breakfast, lunch, and dinner with. And you come out with the list of a set of things you've got to start doing, stop doing and continue doing.” – Michael Yardney
“While some people come to Wealth Retreat because they want to get to the next level financially, many actually want to leave a legacy.”– Michael Yardney
“While we've got a great faculty, this is not a get rich quicker seminar - it's designed to emphasize networking because one of the big challenges I find when I speak to people is a feeling of isolation.” – Michael Yardney
