Timeless Strategies for Property Investment Success

In today’s episode, I’m going to share valuable insights into the world of property investment.

Listen to some time-tested strategies aimed at helping you achieve financial independence through real estate.

• Have faith in the future
  • Pessimism may seem easier, especially as misinformation leads to more pessimism

• However, history suggests that optimism is the more realistic perspective

• Have patience
  • Strategic investors stick with a plan rather than responding to short-term ups and downs
• Have discipline
  • Even if you can’t see the results of sticking with the plan and doing the right thing immediately, it will bear fruit eventually
• Build a great team around you
  • Taking advice from the wrong source can be costly
  • Successful investors are prepared to pay for advice from professionals and mentors
• Have expectations, but don’t make forecasts
  • You can see patterns based on the past that allow you to have reasonable expectations for the future
  • However, trying to put a time frame on those expectations is forecasting

• Time frames are impossible to predict, which is why forecasts are so often wrong

Cultivating a Wealth Mindset in Property

For most property investors to change their level of wealth, they must change.

However, change is difficult for many of us.

Change is uncomfortable and challenges our sense of safety and security.

We think if we stick to what we know, we won’t get hurt, but when it comes to wealth creation, it’s not what we know that holds us back, it’s what we think we know.

If you keep doing the things you've always done, you're going to keep getting the results you've always got.

If what you want is something different from what you’ve got – more wealth, for instance – it stands to reason that you’ll need to do something different to get it.

The first thing you need to change is your thoughts because your inner world creates your outer world.

Your thoughts lead to your feelings, your feelings lead to your actions, and your actions determine results.

So, if you want different results, you must change your thoughts.

That means adjusting your wealth thermostat and starting to think about prosperity, abundance, and success in a way that attracts wealth.

This also means you may need to change some negative ways of thinking that have developed as a result of past experiences.
