The Block 2020 | Lounge and Dining room reveals

The Lounge and Dining room is a crucial part of any house, after all, that is where we spend the majority of our ‘home time’- entertaining guests, having dinner with our family, and enjoying time together.

But as this is The Block – it was going to take much more than just a couple of sofas, a dining table, and television to create that ‘wow’ factor.

So, who had the Brighton Luxury factor?

Style Highlights

In house 1, Harry and Tash created a gorgeous winning space!

The sheer size of the living and dining room is incredible and all the natural light coming through from the ceiling screams luxury.

Their choice of furniture worked beautifully and the dining table, along with chair,s was the perfect size for an entertainer’s house.

In house 2, George and Sarah created a beautiful and very livable space.

The fireplace was a huge hit and I absolutely loved the feature of the washed bricks.

Their choice of colours was stunning and extended the elegance of the kitchen.

In house 3, Daniel and Jade created a warm ambient space, that screamed luxury.

The curved wall with its unique texture is truly a stunning, individual feature that elevates the room to a new level.

The two rooms mirrored their kitchen beautifully, and the Christian Cole dining table is simply a work of art and perfect for a Brighton family home.

In house 4 Luke and Jasmin created a beautiful coastal vibe space.

The colour palette was lovely and consistent with the rest of the house, and their furniture choice, including the stunning timber table and chairs, worked perfectly within the room.

In house 5, Jimmy and Tam made a risky choice by not including the dining room, which was a big mistake because buyers in Brighton would expect that of a luxury home.

They did have some lovely styling choices including the lamp and artwork, but overall the use of space needs to be revisited and does not match the beautiful kitchen attached to it.
