Melbourne has been ranked the world’s most liveable city – for the third year in a row by The Economist Intelligence Unit.
Adelaide, Sydney and Perth again made it into the top 10 with Auckland the only New Zealand city in the top 10.
Issues covering stability, healthcare, culture, environment, education and infrastructure were considered in the survey which reported:
“Improvements to infrastructure in Australia, where the federal government initiated an ambitious long-term road-building programme in 2010, prompted rises in some cities in 2011,”
