Probably the biggest difference between really successful property investors and the average investor is the way they think.
In fact that’s what also makes successful business people and entrepreneurs stand out from the pack.
In my mind what holds most investors back from reaching their goals is not that the market, not the economy and not their knowledge.
It’s that they’re not thinking rich. They are letting fear drive their decisions when opportunity abounds.
One of the most important things we can do to propel our personal success is to get our mindset right and then taking advantage of the the opportunities the property markets are throwing up in front of us, rather than being afraid of them.[sam id=31 codes=’true’]
There are fundamental differences in the way wealthy people think and act and that sets them apart and brings abundance.
Napoleon Hill described it as the ability to literally “think yourself rich”.
And the amazing thing is you can learn to think like the rich do. Yes, it is a different mind-set but you can start to train yourself to “Think Rich”.
One of my favourite books on the topic is Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
I highly recommend that you click on the link in this blog and get a copy for yourself, with my compliments – NO COST.
When I first read this book in the 1990’s it changed my way of thinking. I don’t think I’m being melodramatic saying it actually changed my life.
If you are thinking rich at the moment you’ll be excited by the opportunities that are being presented in the market and you’ll have a defined plan to take advantage of them.
You’ll also have simple but powerful goals aligned to your purpose, you’ll be positive about your future, you’ll be looking for ways to increase your income.
Remember, many more millionaires will be created over the next property cycle, while most Australian’s financial situation will remain much the same.
The difference? Thinking rich or thinking poor.
