Abundance Or Scarcity? What does the future hold for our world?

With all the negative media that bombards us it would be easy to form a negative view of what’s ahead.

And I’m not just talking about property. I’m talking about the word, our climate, the world’s economy, capitalism, and democracy, you name it…

Well I just watched a video that made me think seriously about my future and the future that my children and grandchildren are growing up to know….

Have you ever been struck by a sense that your perspective has been entirely shifted ?  That’s what happened as I watched presentation.

It’s by Dr. Peter Diamandis, and he recently gave a TED talk, and got a (rare) standing ovation — over 500,000 people have watched this presentation in the last couple of weeks alone.

And that’s because it’s powerful and answers the question of whether the future is going to be better, or get worse.

If you haven’t got 16 minutes to watch it now, then bookmark this page and come back to it.

    Hi Michael,
This was fantastic. Thank you very much for sharing this with us. I think this should played at all schools around the world to teach our children that this is a truly a wonderul world and that our future here is not grim as the press likes us to believe.

This is a fantastic presentation, and one that should put all our concerns and woes into perspective.

Michael.. its a great talk, but there are many others on TED that are just as powerful yet deliver a different message. As you troll through the TED archives you will come across these and be equally impacted.
