I have been following you for years but as recently divorced woman, I am on a low income now, although I do have enough after my settlement in a SMSF to buy an investment property outright. I have about 5years before retirement and like the previous comment I am not looking for capital growth just an steady income. I understand that with Super I need professional advice but don’t know who to look for or trust as the financial advisor that works in with my accountant I felt was pretty useless. The money has been sitting in the bank earning nothing for a few years so I really have to jump in now! I am a bookkeeper and have managed rental properties before so understand the work involved. I feel I need advice on best return locations, residential or commercial etc.. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated .
